A New York-based music producer paralyzed in a 2008 car accident has won a $23.3 million verdict in a Brooklyn jury trial.

Charles Scott Harding, a hip hop and jazz producer, was awarded $8 million in Brooklyn Supreme Court for past pain and suffering, $12.5 million for future pain and suffering and approximately $2.8 million for future medical expenses, his lawyer, Adam Raffo, said in an interview Thursday.
