If voters call a convention to propose amendments to the state Constitution in 2018, the “forever wild” provisions should not be modified, the New York State Bar Association has decided.
An association committee studying possible changes that a convention could propose said it sees little danger of the guarantee being weakened, as some environmentalists have warned.
