A town court justice from northern New York has been admonished for comments she made on her Facebook account about a criminal matter pending in another court.
Morristown Town Court Justice Lisa Whitmarsh was “cooperative and contrite” as the state Commission on Judicial Conduct investigated allegations against her. She entered into a stipulation with the panel in December that set admonition as her sanction, the commission announced Wednesday.
