Amid litigation, the New York Attorney General’s office has agreed to hold off for now on enforcing certain provisions of a new state ethics law, including a provision requiring certain nonprofits to disclose the identities of donors giving them more than $2,500.
The AG also will hold off enforcing a provision requiring certain nonprofits that spend more than $10,000 a year on any public policy communications to report names of donors who give $1,000 or more.
