The New York state Senate Judiciary Committee will hold a hearing Feb. 6 to consider the nomination of Rowan Wilson, a Cravath, Swaine & Moore partner, for a seat on the state Court of Appeals.

Oral testimony will be by invitation only. Traditionally, representatives of the New York State Bar Association and the New York State Trial Lawyers Association speak about the nominee before the candidate himself or herself takes questions from the panel.
