Mediation talks have failed in the lawsuit alleging PricewaterhouseCoopers committed accounting advice malpractice that contributed to the 2011 collapse of MF Global from bad bets on sovereign debt.
Attorneys for MF Global’s plan administrator wrote Southern District of New York Judge Victor Marrero on Feb. 24 saying a last-minute effort at mediation, which had prompted Marrero to postpone trial for three weeks, was unsuccessful.
