Manhattan District Attorney Cyrus Vance Jr. announced Monday that his office will distribute nearly $58 million in bank forfeiture funds toward programs that help children.
Vance said $12 million will be divided almost equally among nine existing organizations—including Sanctuary for Families and the Legal Aid Society—for family and youth services.
