Leaks by an FBI agent about an insider trading grand jury investigation were not enough to persuade a federal judge to toss an indictment against professional sports gambler William “Billy” Walters.

Southern District Judge Kevin Castel denied a motion to dismiss made by defense lawyer Barry Berke, partner at Kramer Levin Naftalis & Frankel, based on media leaks by agent David Chaves, who is under investigation by both the FBI and the U.S. Department of Justice.
