A former upstate judge pleaded guilty Friday to abusing his position by giving favorable rulings to defendants in exchange for sexual favors, Attorney General Eric Schneiderman’s office said.

Paul Lamson, who presided over the Town of Fowler Justice Court for 10 years, is the second local judge this year to plead guilty for soliciting sex for beneficial rulings.
