The supreme court order, inter alia, directed the payment of attorneys' fees and disbursements and a Medicaid claim.

ESTATE OF ERIK ALEJANDRO RAMIREZ A/K/A BABY BOY RAMIREZ SANCHEZ YENI RAMIREZ SANCHEZ, Deceased (13/1614/A) — The co-administrator, the decedent’s mother, seeks to lift the restrictions on her limited letters of administration so she may receive and judicially account for the remaining proceeds of causes of action settled in the Supreme Court, Bronx County (McKeon, J.) being held in her attorneys’ escrow account. The supreme court order, inter alia, directed the payment of attorneys’ fees and disbursements and a Medicaid claim.

The decedent died on May, 20, 2012, shortly after birth, as a result of alleged medical malpractice. His distributees are his parents. Under the circumstances including the consents of the decedent’s father and the New York State Department of Taxation and Finance, the court grants the request to allocate the entire settlement funds to the personal injury cause of action.
