• A transaction worked on by Cullen and Dykman has been named by The M&A Advisor as winner of this year’s “Refinancing Deal of the Year (Under $250 Million)” award at its annual Turnaround Awards. The Cullen team which represented the lender on the transaction was led by John F. State, a partner in the firm’s banking, corporate, and real estate groups, and included associate Daniel A. Devine.
• Mark Abbott, president and deputy commissioner of Major League Soccer, and Bradley I. Ruskin, partner at Proskauer Rose, were honored with this year’s Jewish Theological Seminary’s Judge Simon H. Rifkind Award. The award was established in 1996 in recognition of Judge Rifkind’s exemplary life, distinguished public service, and unstinting devotion to the Jewish community.
