New York’s Eric Schneiderman and California’s Xavier Becerra are among 16 attorneys general signing onto an amicus curiae brief urging a federal appeals court to invalidate an Ohio law that they say unconstitutionally inhibits health care providers from using public funds for abortions.

The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit has accepted an appeal in the case, Planned Parenthood of Greater Ohio v. Hodges, 16-4027.
