It’s now up to the jury to decide whether professional sports gambler William “Billy” Walters is guilty of trading on inside information supplied by disgraced former Dean Foods chairman Thomas Davis.
Defense lawyer Barry Berke told the panel Thursday that Davis, who pleaded guilty to perjury in a cooperation deal with federal prosecutors, lied repeatedly on the witness stand to save his own skin.
