The state’s highest court is soliciting amici curiae contributions from parties interested in a case involving a fatal auto accident in western New York and the “hired auto” provisions of a commercial insurance policy.
The state Court of Appeals heard oral arguments in the case, Carlson v. American International Group, 47, on March 28, but announced a week later it was ordering rearguments and would set the case down for the rehearing later.
