A judge has given permission to both sides in a dispute over public release of footage from body cameras worn by New York City Police Department officers to appeal questions about the case.

Manhattan Supreme Court Justice Kathryn Freed granted motions from New York City and the owners of the NY1 cable news station to seek appellate review of their respective contentions in Matter of Time Warner Cable News NY1 v. New York City Police Department, 150305/2016.
