Albany Law School will honor Thomas Vilsack, the former Iowa governor and U.S. agriculture secretary, with the top award it gives annually to one of its alumni.
Albany President and Dean Alicia Ouellette said Vilsack will receive the Honorable James P. King ’59 Lifetime Achievement Award during a ceremony on April 27 in Albany in recognition of his “stellar” career in public service.
