New York’s highest court will hear an appeal of a lower court’s reinstatement of the conviction of former Goldman Sachs & Co. computer programmer Sergey Aleynikov for allegedly stealing the investment bank’s source code.
Court of Appeals Judge Eugene Fahey granted leave to appeal in People v. Aleynikov, the court announced Tuesday. It generally takes 12 to 14 months from when the court grants leave to appeal to hear oral arguments and decide cases.
