GUARDIANSHIP OF VALENTINE P., JR. PURSUANT TO SCPA ARTICLE 17-A (12/882) — In this guardianship proceeding, an order to show cause was entered upon the application of Mental Hygiene Legal Services (MHLS) directing that the respondent payer of the ward's mother's retirement benefits for the ward's benefit account and furnish supporting documentation for all payments to the guardian of the person of the ward. MHLS now advises that the respondent complied with the production of those documents, it withdraws the order to show cause and requests that the court direct a conference with the guardian and a representative from the ward's facility concerning restitution of those funds and their placement into a pooled trust.

Accordingly, this decision constitutes the order of the court marking the order to show cause “withdrawn” pursuant to the petitioner’s request. As requested, a conference is scheduled for Thursday, September 28, 2017 at 2 P.M. in Courtroom 406 with the guardian of the ward’s person, representative from the ward’s resident facility and MHLS.
