DECISION AND ORDER AFTER TRIALProcedural History

*1 The plaintiff-wife, D.N. (hereafter “wife”) and the defendant-husband, M.N. (hereinafter “husband”) were married on April 4, 2005. There are two children born of the marriage, namely, L (born May 21, XXXX) and J (born July 15, XXXX). The wife commenced an action for divorce on November 18, 2015. By order dated January 15, 2016, Patrician Latzman, Esq., was appointed attorney for the subject children. By order dated March 7, 2016, the court appointed Dr. Anthony Santoro, Psy.D to conduct a neutral psychological forensic evaluation of the parties and children and to prepare a written report which was accepted into evidence during his trial testimony. Throughout the proceedings, the wife was represented by Sari Friedman, Esq., and the husband was represented by Eugene Bechtle, Esq.During the divorce proceeding, the husband and wife both filed family offense petitions in the Nassau County Family Court seeking orders of protection against the other on behalf of themselves and/or their two children. The Court granted the parties’ request to transfer and consolidate the pending family offense petitions with the within matrimonial action. The trial commenced with the family offense petitions on June 12, 2017 and continued on June 23, 2017. The court heard testimony from both parties and the paternal grandmother and conducted an in camera interview with the subject children. On July 10, 2017 the parties entered into a “So
