Surrogate AndersonESTATE OF MARILYN KOCH, Deceased (15/4314/C) — At the call of the calendar, this uncontested petition to compel an attorney-in-fact to account was granted. Respondent Leslie Koch is directed to file an account of her proceedings as attorney-in-fact for decedent under a Durable Power of Attorney dated July 6, 2012, together with a petition for the judicial settlement thereof, within forty-five (45) days of the date of the order of this court.Order signed.Dated: July 3, 2018

ESTATE OF JAMES HARRISON, JR., Deceased (13/1488/C) — In this final accounting of the Public Administrator as administrator in the estate of James Harrison Jr., the court is asked to determine the identity of decedent’s distributees. Based upon the proof submitted at two kinship hearings before a court attorney-referee, the court finds that decedent was survived by two siblings (one of whom post-deceased), two nephews, and one niece as his sole distributees.The court is satisfied that diligent and exhaustive efforts have been made, without success, to determine whether other distributees exist, that more than three years have passed since decedent’s death, and that no claim to a distributive share in the estate has been made by any person other than the above-mentioned distributees. It is therefore determined that no distributees exist other than those established in the record before the court (SCPA §2225).Accordingly, the Public Administrator is directed to distribute the net estate to the following individuals in the respective shares: Erica D. Harrison (1/3), Erica D. Harrison, as fiduciary of the estate of Tyrone E. Harrison (1/3), Gregory Reed Harrison (1/9), Christopher Gerrod Harrison (1/9), and Crystal Harrison (1/9).The Public Administrator shall supplement her account by affidavit, and as so supplemented the account is settled.Settle decree.Dated: July 3, 2018
