Surrogate AndersonEstate of ABRAHAM HIRSCHFELD (05-3139/C), Deceased — At the call of the calendar on January 25, 2019, this application for limited letters of administration, brought by the grandchildren of the decedent as residuary beneficiaries of a trust under the will of Abraham Hirschfeld, was inarked off the calendar· in view of petitioners’ continuing failure to obtain jurisdiction.Petitioners filed the instant application on April 27, 2017, and thereafter, six supplemental citations were issued. Petitioners were ultimately given until January 25, 2019, to complete jurisdiction. The court’s records reflect that petitioners’ earliest attempt to serve any interested party was not made until January 16, 2019, and that such service was defective (SCPA 308[1][a]).Dated: February 7 , 2019
