Surrogate AndersonESTATE OF FREDERICK L. RUTGERS, Grantor (15-535) — This is an unopposed application for authorization to terminate a trust, pursuant to EPTL §7-1.19, on the ground that it is uneconomical to administer and for authorization to distribute the income and principal remaining to decedent’s great-grandchildren.Under EPTL §7-1.19, the court may terminate a trust if it is economically impracticable to maintain-, the express terms of the instrument do not prohibit early termination and termination would not defeat the specified purpose of the trust and would be in the best interest of the beneficiaries.The papers establish that the above requirements have been satisfied. Accordingly, the application to terminate the trust is granted. Distribution of the trust assets shall be made as requested in the petition.Decree signed.Dated: July 30, 2019
