Surrogate Titone ESTATE OF MAUREEN LENIHAN, a/k/a Mary M. Lenihan, Deceased (19-910) — In this probate proceeding, it appears that Mary Colleen Lenihan, a distributee, is an incapacitated person, thereby requiring the appointment of a Guardian ad Litem pursuant to SCPA 403(2). Accordingly, the Court appoints Daniel J. Reiter, Esq., as the Guardian ad Litem to protect the interest of such parties. The appointment is effective upon the Guardian ad Litem filing Form UCS 872 entitled “Notice of Appointment and Certification of Compliance,” and upon the Guardian ad Litem duly qualifying pursuant to Uniform Rules for the Surrogate’s Court, Section 207.13(A). This decision shall constitute the Order of the Court. Dated: September 4, 2019

ESTATE OF REGINA MARTINOS, Deceased (15-187/A) — This is an application by the limited administrator of this estate to modify the limitations contained in the Limited Letters of Administration issued by this Court on March 9, 2015, so as to enable him to compromise a personal injury cause of action on behalf of decedent. Jurisdiction has been obtained over all necessary parties, including the New York State Department of Taxation and Finance. Upon review of all the papers submitted, the application to modify the limitations and to settle the personal injury claim in the amount of $215,000.00 is approved. Attorney fees, inclusive of disbursements, are fixed and allowed in the total amount of $72,598.33 to Krentzel & Guzman, LLP. New York City Department of Social Services-Human Resources Administration shall be paid $35,000.00 as payment of their claim, pursuant to a Stipulation signed by the petitioner and New York City Human Resources Administration on behalf of the Department of Social Services on March 28, 2019. Additionally, the Law Offices of Ann Pinciss Berman shall be paid $45.00 for disbursements. The net balance in the amount of $107,356.67 shall be paid pursuant to EPTL 4-1.1 as follows: $53,678.34 to James Martinos; and $53,678.33 to Emily Martinos. Incidental relief prayed for is granted. Decree signed. Dated: August 2, 2019
