Surrogate Anderson ESTATE OF JOSE ANTONIO PAGAN, Deceased (17-574/A/B/C) — The compromise of a cause of action for decedent’s conscious pain and suffering was approved and attorney’s fees and disbursements were fixed and determined by order of the Supreme Court, New York County. That court also directed the payment of a Medicaid lien. The administrator’s petition for leave to allocate and distribute the net settlement proceeds for the cause of action for decedent’s conscious pain and suffering is granted. The restrictions contained in the letters issued to the administrator are removed. Statutory commissions are approved in the sum requested. The administrator is authorized to reimburse himself the sum of $6,186 for payment of decedent’s funeral expenses. The balance of the settlement proceeds shall be distributed to decedent’s issue in accordance with EPTL 4-1.1(a)(3), as set forth in the decree. The account is settled, and the decree is signed. Dated: October 25, 2019
