Surrogate Anderson

ESTATE OF REBECCA NICOLE QUATINETZ, Deceased (09-3232/A/B/C) — The compromise of a cause of action for decedent’s conscious pain and suffering and wrongful death was approved and attorney’s fees and disbursements were fixed and determined by order of the Supreme Court, New York County. The administrator’s petition for leave to distribute the net settlement proceeds for the cause of action for decedent’s conscious pain and suffering and wrongful death is granted. The restrictions contained in the letters issued to the administrator are removed. The funeral expenses were paid by decedent’s father, but he is not seeking reimbursement. The administrator has waived statutory commissions. The balance of the settlement proceeds shall be distributed to decedent’s parents in accordance with EPTL 4-1.1 (a) (4) and EPTL 5-4.4, as set forth in the decree. The account is settled, and the decree is signed. Dated: November 4, 2020
