ESTATE OF RICHARD WASHINGTON, Deceased (14-1523/D) — The proposed compromise of the cause of action for decedent’s conscious pain and suffering is approved. The restrictions on the letters of administration are modified to allow this compromise. The administrator is authorized to collect the settlement proceeds and to execute the necessary receipts and releases. Attorney’s fees and disbursements are fixed and determined. The administrator is authorized to pay the following sums in full satisfaction of the associated liens: $59,000 to the New York City Department of Social Services/Human Resources Administration, $50,000 to Kateri Nursing Home, and $50,000 to Rawlings & Company for Medicare payments. The net proceeds shall be paid to decedent’s distributees as set forth in the petition. The account is settled. Submit decree. Dated: May 27, 2021
