MURIEL C. MEEHAN, Deceased (94-1940.1) — On June 28, 2019, the return date of the third supplemental citation issued in this contested accounting proceeding, the matter was referred to the Law Department for a conference with a court attorney-referee in order to establish a discovery schedule. At that conference, the parties discussed and agreed to explore an informal resolution of this proceeding. Towards that end, Petitioner agreed to provide Objectant with document production on an informal basis. The court conducted numerous settlement conferences with the parties, and Petitioner provided Objectant with additional documents to facilitate the settlement discussions. Upon being informed, after such settlement discussions, that a resolution of this dispute could not be accomplished, and having concluded that it is in the best interests of this estate to do so, the court, sua sponte, herewith directs Petitioner to supplement her account of her proceedings as Administrator. Accordingly, it is ORDERED, that Debra M. Cressotti, as the Administrator of the Estate of Muriel C. Meehan, shall amend her petition for the judicial settlement of her account and supplement such account to bring it down to date, and file any other submissions required to obtain the issuance of a citation in the accounting proceeding within 60 days of the date that this Decision and Order is served upon her, with notice of entry. Petitioner shall then cause citation to be issued and service to be made without undue delay, on all persons interested in the accounting proceeding pursuant to SCPA 2210. This decision constitutes the order of the court. Clerk to notify. Dated: February 9, 2022
