ESTATE OF AMPARO SEDA, Deceased (21-1358) — In this contested estate there are three distributees, Jorge Luis Roman (“Jorge”), Luis Angel Roman (“Luis”) and Jose Manuel Roman (“Jose”), all of whom are sons of the decedent. On August 17, 2021, Jorge filed a petition for letters of administration. The petition lists personal property valued at $10,000 and realty located at 1112 Simpson Street, Bronx, New York. Citation issued on the decedent’s other two sons, Luis and Jose. On the citation’s return date, which was held on the court’s virtual platform, Luis and Jose appeared and did not consent to the application. The matter was then adjourned several times so the parties could engage in settlement discussions with a member of the court’s law department.

Jorge is being represented by Gary S. Basso, Esq., Luis filed a pro se notice of appearance, and Jose is participating in the settlement pro se, but did not submit a notice of appearance to the court.
