ESTATE Of JONATHAN MCALLISTER, a/k/a JONATHAN DAVID McALLISTER, SR. Deceased, (18-3201/A/B/C) — The proposed compromise of causes of action related to decedent Jonathan McAllister’s personal injury is approved. Decedent died on July 6, 2018, of causes unrelated to the personal injury action underlying the instant petition to compromise. By order of this court dated May 4, 2022, a guardian ad litem (GAL) was appointed to appear in this proceeding on behalf of two minor children of decedent.1 The GAL has filed his report, as amended, and on behalf of his wards interposes no objections to the settlement of Petitioners’ account or their proposed distribution of the net settlement proceeds. The GAL waived notice of settlement of Petitioners’ proposed Decree. The unopposed petition is granted. The restrictions contained in the Letters of Administration issued to the co-Administrators are modified to permit this compromise and they are authorized to collect the settlement proceeds and execute any necessary receipt and releases. Reimbursement for decedent’s funeral expenses to the personal representative of the estate of the now deceased funeral creditor is allowed. Payment of statutory commissions to each Administrator, as requested, is allowed. Counsel’s legal fees are fixed and reimbursement for disbursements allowed. The balance of the settlement proceeds shall be paid as set forth in the Decree. Decree settling the co-Administrators’ account is signed. Dated: January 10, 2023
