ESTATE OF KUI YING LAM, Deceased (17-4224/A/B/C) — The administrator of the estate of Kui Ying Lam seeks permission to collect and distribute the proceeds of a recovery from the September 11th Victim Compensation Fund (the Fund) and further seeks judicial settlement of his account with respect to those proceeds. The administrator’s petition is granted. The restrictions contained in the letters issued to him are modified to the extent necessary to allow the collection and distribution of the proceeds from the Fund, and he is authorized to collect the amount due from the Fund and to execute the necessary receipts and releases. The fees of petitioner’s attorney are fixed and determined. The funeral expenses were paid by decedent’s three children, and the administrator is authorized to reimburse them from the proceeds. The balance of the proceeds from the Fund shall be distributed to decedent’s spouse and issue as set forth in the decree. The account is settled, and the decree is signed. Dated: April 21, 2023
