Lorich, petitioner’s counsel was given leave to withdraw on March 28, 2022. The proceeding was stayed 30 days from April 19, 2022, the date notice of entry of the decision was filed with the court, so that petitioner would have time to retain counsel or appear as a self-represented party. The court’s records indicate that respondent (executor) filed an answer on March 25, 2021, but there has been no activity since the stay ended more than a year ago. ESTATE OF JIMMY JEAN Deceased (17-1084/B/C/D) — The settlement of this claim was approved by the September 11th Victim Compensation Fund (VCF) as part of a comprehensive settlement plan related to the World Trade Center Litigation. The VCF determined an award and allocated the proceeds pursuant to its Policies and Procedures. The restrictions on the letters of administration are modified to allow this compromise. The administrator is authorized to collect the settlement proceeds and to execute the necessary receipts and releases. Attorney’s fees are fixed and determined.
