ESTATE OF MON YEUNG LEE, Deceased (20-1691/A/B/C) — The administrator of the estate of Mon Yeung Lee seeks permission to collect and distribute the proceeds of a recovery from the September 11th Victim Compensation Fund (hereinafter “fund”) and further seeks judicial settlement of his account with respect to those proceeds. The administrator’s application for leave to compromise claims for decedent’s conscious pain and suffering and wrongful death is granted. The restrictions on the letters of administration are modified to the extent necessary to collect such proceeds, and she is authorized to collect the amount due from the fund and to execute the necessary receipts and releases. The fees and disbursements of petitioner’s attorney are fixed and determined as set forth in the decree. The balance of settlement proceeds shall be distributed to decedent’s spouse and son pursuant to the terms requested in the petition, as set forth in the decree. The account is settled, and the decree is signed. Dated: July 31, 2023
