ESTATE OF LYDIA LIONGSON-BRANCH, Deceased (13-3328/D) — This is a reverse discovery and turnover proceeding (SCPA 2105) in the estate of Lydia Liongson-Branch. Due to the self-represented petitioner’s history in this and other proceedings in this estate of repeated attempts to communicate ex parte with the court and to file letters, communications between himself and his former attorney, and documents related to ongoing discovery, the court enjoins petitioner from contacting the court by telephone, email or letter and from filing any papers in this proceeding, other than opposition papers to a motion filed by respondent or a cross-motion (SCPA 2214[b]), except upon an emergency application and only with prior leave of the court (see e.g. Matter of Pettus v. Board of Directors, 169 AD3d 524, 525 [1st Dept 2019]; Pettus v. Yee, 65 Misc 3d 142(A) [2d Dept 2019]). The Clerk of the Court is directed to mail a copy of this decision, which constitutes the order of the court, to petitioner and to respondent’s attorney and to return by mail to petitioner his “General Affidavit” sworn to on August 12, 2023, with related documents.
