BROBECK, Phleger & Harrison has announced that it is laying off about 50 associates in response to the continued weakness in the technology sector.

The 50 associates represent about 10 percent of San Francisco-based Brobeck’s total. Seven of the affected associates are in the New York office, representing about 17 percent of that office’s associates. The firm also cut 85 staff members nationwide, including four in New York.
