MINEOLA – A State Supreme Court justice has granted a motion filed by television news personality Bill O’Reilly and his wife, Maureen O’Reilly, to discontinue infliction of emotional distress claims in their $7 million lawsuit against a neighbor who allegedly harassed the O’Reilly family at their Manhasset home.

Over the objection of defendants John F. Kennedy and his mother, Josephine C. Kennedy, Justice Jerald S. Carter granted the motion asking to voluntarily discontinue certain causes of action seeking damages for the infliction of emotional distress.
