RIVERHEAD – Supreme Court Justice Denise F. Molia has declined to impose sanctions against a Huntington attorney in connection with allegations of frivolous and deceitful handling of a civil suit against publicist Elizabeth Grubman.
In a two-page decision signed April 4, Justice Molia rejected arguments made by Ms. Grubman’s counsel for sanctions against Christopher Modelewski, simply saying that they failed to show his conduct “has risen to the level” that could be deemed “violative” of the Disciplinary Rules.
