A COMMISSION to advise the judiciary on possible privacy interests affected by the posting of state court case files on the Internet was appointed yesterday with First Amendment lawyer Floyd Abrams as chairman.

Chief Judge Judith S. Kaye announced the appointment of a 22-member panel, the Commission on Public Access to Court Records, which is expected to issue a report with findings and recommendations by next year.
