Last year, the Court issued 100 majority opinions and only six per curiams and 39 memoranda. There were only 13 dissenting opinions and five concurrences.
ALBANY – The Court of Appeals last year granted leave in a record low percentage of criminal cases while increasing leave grants in civil matters. In both categories, however, the Court generally followed trends of recent years.
