THE CORPORATION Counsel’s Office has culled six firms from a field of 13 to defend the Health and Hospitals Corporation in medical malpractice cases where the city’s exposure to liability could exceed $1 million.

Five of the firms have defended the Health and Hospitals Corporation (HHC) for at least five years, but one new firm was added to the roster – Aaronson Rappaport Feinstein & Deutsch.
