Intelsat, Ltd., a global communications provider headquartered in Pembroke, Bermuda, will acquire satellite provider PanAmSat Holding Corporation for $3.2 billion and will assume all outstanding common shares of PanAmSat stock. Also, La Paloma Generating Company has been purchased for $580 million by Complete Energy Holdings, LLC in one of the largest cash sales of a power generating asset.
