A New York judge has permitted a lawyer to proceed with a malicious prosecution suit against the mortgage company and law firm that previously brought a legal malpractice suit against her.
In 2000, the Blue Chip Mortgage Corp. hired Manhattan lawyer Linda Strumpf to collect on a $300,000 judgment they had obtained in federal court against Gary Konstantin, a former employee who had misappropriated funds from the mortgage company.
