Pioneer Sues Samsung Over Plasma Patents
Japanese electronics maker Pioneer announced Monday that it filed a complaint against South Korean plasma display maker Samsung SDI alleging infringement of Pioneer patents related to plasma display technology. Samsung SDI, a subsidiary of Samsung Electronics, denied it was using Pioneer's patents and said it planned to fight the lawsuit.
