Children of uninsured motorists have rights to full tort coverage when involved in an accident where their parent was not at fault, even if the parent is deemed to have limited tort coverage, the Pennsylvania Supreme Court has ruled. The majority expressed interest in wanting to avoid punishing children, who did not make the choice to drive without car insurance. However, the court was deeply split, as two of the five justices in the majority expressed concern over the decision's impact.

Ballon Leaves Manatt for Greenberg
