OSI Restaurant Partners Inc., the company that owns Outback Steakhouse, Blue Coral Seafood & Spirits and other restaurant chains in the United States and 21 foreign countries, has been sold in a $3.2 billion transaction. The buyers are taking the company private. Also, Oshkosh Truck Corporation has purchased JLG Industries, Inc. through a $3.2 billion cash transaction. Combined, the companies will employ 13,000 workers and have estimated revenues of $6 billion.
