|Avis Pays $170M for Maggiore
Parsippany, New Jersey-based Avis Budget Group Inc. has paid about $170 million to acquire fellow car rental providers The Maggiore Group, of Rome, Italy.
|Heartland Acquires Payroll 1
Princeton, New Jersey-based payment processing company Heartland Payment Systems on March 2 announced its acquisition of Payroll 1, a payroll and tax service provider in Birmingham, Michigan. Payroll will become part of Heartland's hospitality business division.
