Andover Properties, a New York City-based private real estate investment company with storage properties in Newark and Passaic, announced on March 4 it has paid $4.9 million to acquire fellow storage center operator Tamarack Self-Storage & Warehousing Inc. of Neptune. Following the transaction, Tamarack will do business as Storage King USA.

Drug maker Janssen Pharmaceuticals in Titusville, a division of the Janssen Pharmaceutical Companies of health-care conglomerate Johnson & Johnson in New Brunswick, on March 19 announced its acquisition of XO1 Limited, a Cambridge, U.K.-based virtual biopharmaceutical company.

AMS Funding, a business funding company based in Morganville, announced on March 16 it has been acquired by New York City-based business solutions provider Phantom Fiber Corp.
