Richard Badolato is the consummate lawyer. As a member of the bar for 50 years, Richard has proven his legal capabilities as a lawyer and litigator, trying over 300 cases to conclusion. He is a sought-after arbitrator and mediator by both the plaintiff and defense bars due to his ability to provide a fair and impartial analysis of the matter before him.

But he is so much more. Richard's career is replete with positions in our profession demonstrating his commitment to professionalism, integrity and service to the bar. He served as president of both the New Jersey State Bar Association and the New Jersey State Bar Foundation. He has served as chairman of the Commission on Professionalism in the Law and is the current chair of the Supreme Court Advisory Committee on Professional Ethics.

Richard is proudest, though, of the recognition he has received from his colleagues for his professional excellence. These awards include the NJSBA Civil Trial Bar Section's James McLaughlin Award for civility, the Herman Breitkopf Award, presented by Middlesex County Trial Lawyers, and the State Bar Foundation's Medal of Honor.
