A man who claimed he sustained permanent injures after experiencing a stroke that went undiagnosed settled his medical malpractice action, Carley v. Ahuja, at trial for $1 million on April 14.

At around 4 a.m. on May 26, 2010, Edward Carley, then 50, was taken by a friend to the emergency room at Jersey City Medical Center after waking up with a headache, nausea, vomiting and dizziness, according to his lawyer, William Crutchlow of Eichen Crutchlow Zaslow & McElroy in Edison.
