Connell Foley, making good on plans to re-establish a meaningful physical presence in the city it called home for nearly five decades, has opened the doors to its new office space in Newark.

As of June 8, 18 of the firm's roughly 140 lawyers occupied the 12,000-square-foot space on the 19th floor of One Newark Center—where Seton Hall University School of Law also is located.

According to Connell Foley's Newark managing partner, Liza Walsh, it's a location the firm settled on after looking at about a dozen others in the Penn Station vicinity—and one that's costing more per square foot than the firm's main office, 11 miles west in suburban Roseland.
