In 2016, the New Jersey contingent of Morgan, Lewis & Bockius’ labor and employment practice, based in Princeton, handled complex and class litigation involving whistleblower, discrimination, wage-and-hour and retirement-benefits claims. One victory, at the summary judgment stage, came on behalf of Amazon in a putative class action claiming workers were wrongly denied pay for security screening time. The team is representing Amazon in another pending wage-and-hour matter, too. Also, on remand in the long-running “Borgata Babes” case, the Morgan Lewis group re-briefed a summary judgment motion, and prevailed.
